Tired of seeing topics like "HELP ME!1!!!111! CAN I RUN HALO????//????//". Look no further, for i have found dum...dum...dum: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS TEST.COM!!! with 1, count 'em, 1 tiny download, you can scan your computer and determine if it can run the game of your choice. This will hopefully cut down on the "can my pc run halo" threads. And i'll have this in my sig for future reference. Enjoy!!!!

All that site does is compare your specs with the back of the game's box. In many cases, such as with Halo, it could tell you that your PC is great but due to the game's crappy optimization it'll run like crappy crap.

How do I know there isn't a Hard drive scan in there? Otherwise, this is good stuff.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

This Microsoft one is better.

  • 07.25.2006 10:55 PM PDT

I kind of like the MS one better, but then again I think it may be I just trust that site knowing its a MS site.
wow, and i thought BF2 was only playable on a really good PC.

Mine fails miserably, but Halo runs fine on it. Sure, I get like 10 fps in-game, and I have to use -use11 shaders, but I can still play the game, and that's what counts.

I don't know...I don't like having random programs tied to the internet that scan my computer's specs...reeks almost of spyware.
