If the New MC is to have open toed sandals should it be socks or no socks? Personally I say a good solid pair of sports socks is essential, he's doing a lot of running round and without he's just asking for blisters or athletes foot.

I suggest a nice ble pair, just above knee height.

I vote socks because after awhile the stress of the battlefield can mount up and the socks would become his best tool.

I mean think about it. 36 hours into a fight Chief finally gets his break. He eats and rearms. Pulls a sock off and shoots off a load into the bottom. Sure it'll be crunchy after it dries and squishy for the first hour or so but he's relieved some tension and kept a cool head.

Is this a good point to open the buckle / velcro fastenings debate.

Clearly its Halo 3 so it will be a space buckle and laser velcro but which to choose?

OMG!!! Gaming For The Fun Of It In The UK and Europe!

The OMG Community Montage - a unique Halo3 DVD montage.

Don't try arguing with idiots. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Socks. 2 Pairs.

Think about it - the fella runs around in combat boots all day. He's going to do everything possible to put off getting blisters. A nice thick wooly pair over a thin cotton pair does wonders for that.

Oh, and he probably treats his feet with petrol to harden them up too.

As an aside, all the tramping around in damp environments with the Flood kicking around must be a recipie for atheletes foot. He should get sponsored by Scholl....

I think the black rubbery mesh that he puts on includes his feet.

I mean wtf locked. This isn't about Halo 3.
