Wouldn't it be awsome to make ur own map and play on live with frriends i do!!!! And mabe Edit already created maps for example:
#1 Headlong(kinda city type)
#2 caontainment or sidewinder(snowy)
#3 Blood Gulch or coagulation(like a plain level) u could make more bases for bigger CTF games
#4 lLockout (another snowy level) u cold put more towers on it and like walkways out to them.
and yeah i dont konw about u but i think this idea would be freakin sweet!

yes and no! it would be cool to make your own maps in a map maker, but it shoud be released on the Xbox Market Place a LONG time after H3 is out and for a price, like maybe a year or something, just so bungie can make their own maps for us to download.

yes... I made a poll about that same exact issue a while back. I would love a map edittor for Halo 3. I'd be all over that making maps to play in custom games.

yeah, if they do make a map editor it should come out on a game at a later date, like what they did with the multiplayer map updates for people who didn't have live. So you could buy it for like 30 bucks or whatever. And some other features could be like multiple playable characters, for the movie makers out there, since Machinima is getting big and it would be fun to play as a grunt in a custom game. But keep in mind that this would all be on a seperate disc.

I think this would be good for bungie to because it would allow them to keep making games that have to do with the Halo Series

Yes.If you mean the real word of editing.Asin adding and taking stuff. Not making a new map.You can not model vehicles and ect on XBox!(360 and old)It would be way to hard to modal with a controller.Adding stuff is ok/Making maps.....nah :p If you want to make maps for Halo 2 and Halo 3,wait till it's on Mac and see if there is a 'CE' like they did with Halo.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

i don't think it would be smart to be honest. environments are just far too involved for this game, giving someone the option to make their own wouldn't make much sense. you would spend all sorts of time making your map and trying it out to make sure it works that your not really going to have much time to enjoy it. i don't think bungie should waste their time on the software for a map maker.
