Man, this "problem" has a tremendously simple solution, I can't believe you guys can't see it.

First, in Halo 2, if you stick a teammate, or kill them with a headshot, snipe, etc., it doesn't give you a kill, it gives you a betrayal. Why would that change in Halo 3?

Realizing this, why wouldn't the game "turn off" the players ability to earn acheivements in games which they register a betrayal or suicide?

Jeezus guys, don't create problems that have no business existing.

Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with XBL Achievements if they were team goals at all. I think something like "win 500 flag matches" or "300 slayer matches", or even "achieve level 30 in all playlists" would be great Achievements. Also, some of the more personal ones like "x amount of sniper kills" wouldn't be bad either. Sure, someone might be a jerk and try to take the Sniper rifle, but people do that anyway. I also don't see a problem with the sticky kills one. Beyond that, though, you're right- there would be a huge problem with some of the personal Achievements. It's kind of sad that people will try so hard for this stuff that they would sacrifice the fun of the game.
