"****! Get in that bunker Smith! Johnson, give covering fire!"
"All out! Reloading!"
"This is UNSC Ground Forces Division IV, were getting laid down! We need more ground support!"
"Aye aye sir, we'll send in some more."
"Johnson! I thought I told you to give us covering fire! Johnson? NO! Man down!"
"Don't worry marine, I've got it covered."
"They sent in sp-spartans?"
Yes I'm a crappy writer but that was just to give you a little idea of what my gametype would be like, Battle for Mombassa. Battle for Mombassa (BFM) would be a gametype for up to 16 players, 8 spartans, 8 elites. BFM would involve a giant map, being New Mombassa. You would be dropped off in a pelican/phanton and then given orders to help the ground forces push through and win the battle. The reason for this gametype is that many wish for giant battles in multiplayer, but as we all know that isn't quite possible with all human players due to that most people have DSL or Cable, and not atleast a T1 connection. Because of the 360's new 3 core CPU and GPU, it is possible to have massive battles, but have most of the players being bots. So back to the gameplay. Being a spec op elite or Spartan, it is your job to do your best to help win the battle. When you are dropped off the city is fairly shaken up, assuming Halo 3 will have completely destructible enviorments, by the end it should be completely laid to waste. This is just a basic idea that popped into my head that I would like to see happen. Please post your thoughts/criticism.
NOTE: Before you flame me, please read and notice this is not a rumor, and just a gametype I thought of that I would like to see in Halo.
