Crappy games have ass music that wasn't specifically designed to be a part of the atmosphere and set the tone for the game. Halo is different. Halo's music is dynamically driven to specifically enhance the atmosphere.

I agree with Shishka on this. The original Halo has some of the best music in videogame history, hell I even bought the soundtrack and listen to it regularly. But while you play the game, every score that Marty put in always fits the mood. I can't wait to hear the music in Halo 2.

Ditto Shishka,

The music greatly affects gameplay. Hell my blood pressure and adrenaline rise with the tempo. I particularly like 'Gun Pointed at the Head of the Universe' from HCE.

I may get the H2 soundtrack Tuesday as well.

I agree with you on that on that. I personally like the music from Halo, but you never know, some people might not, (I don't know who).
