I would like to know, it sounds like fun to create a map, I jsut don't want to do it for no reason at all.

Sorry, Bungie doesn't solicit game design and assets from outside of the company. =)

You could always design the level and put it into the HEK, if it's multiplayer, though!

is there anyway we can work around that? like some sort of disclaimer with like 15 of my signatures saying YES YES MAKE IT ! ! ! ! !

Also, shish, since its unlikely, do you guys have anything against modding Halo xbox levels? I do feel left out, but geez, I don't know anything about modding, I wouldnt know where to begin!

Will Halo2 give you an option to design yoru own levels? Can you hint on the answer if you can not say?

how about this answer this question with one of these:

1) no.

2) I can not say

I will be happy with that...hehehe

predator , not for nothing , but give this subject up, i dont believe they will let anyone outside bungie doors affect halo 2 in any which way. if you need to know about modding an xbox go ahead and write me an email, although that is frowned upon in the bungie forums

Nope. Sorry.

We don't allow the discussion of XBox modding here, as it involves modchips.

I highly, highly doubt it.

doubt it? wouldn't you as any other person should, say that is a good idea?

I'm not sure if you were ever into tenchu, for playstation, but tenchu 2 gave you the option to creat your own levels, the ps2 version of tenchu, gawd, that was so awful, I can't believe a company would ruin a game like thatr just to make a quick buck. It just disgusts me.

A level creation tool for a console game is never that great. You could never really create a map as fun as the ones created by Bungie, because all you could do is work with prefab shapes and objects. A good Halo 2 map will be too complex for anything an in-game level creator could accomplish.

You are very right. I've tried a level creator on another first person shooter before, and it's almost impossible to make a good map. The level making process is just far too complex to be made simple with a level creator.
