i knew memphis, whisler, and longhorn .)

do u kno cairo?

Cairo...hm...Windows NT...er...I'm pretty sure its Windows NT 4.0

wrong, it was scrapped around the early 90's, but all of its technolegies were implemented into future windows products (95, and nt3.1) except one which was going to be featured in vista but was once again scraped around june of this year.

wat about neptune and nashville?

Acutally, if you look here, I'm correct.

Nashville I know was code for the never-produced "Windows 96," while Neptune...I'm sure that was the code for the pre-XP OS based on ME edition...

at any rate, those were trick questions and im surprised u hit the correct time frame when cairo was created, impressive, but since u obviously looked them up, it voids any intelligence u might have possessed ,)

Thank you.

As for Cairo, it's a tecnicality that'd be, quite frankly, pointless to argue. Cairo was code for what later became 4.0, and with all the code name changes companies like Microsoft like to go through (remeber Blackcomb/Vienna are both codes for the post-vista OS), you and I are both partially correct.

You're true, I did look it up, but not recently, as you may have accidentally assumed in the above written. I looked it up from way way before...think three or so years back.

Believe whatever you wish to believe, I will say that I didn't look it up (recently) beforehand. However, if you're intending to start some computer-history-forum-quiz, I'll have to gracefully decline.

leave it to me15ter to 'gracefully decline'...

Right. Cause I don't know (nor care) if you're interested in your little trivia quiz, but you've basically hijacked your own thread from an interesting discussion about the future of Windows to a computer history quiz.

If that was your intention, so be it, it's "your" thread after all, but I'm not going to keep perpetuating pages upon pages of arguments as to whether or not I knew this or that.

damn right its my thread! lol, actually u started the quiz thing, but i wont point fingers...(cus we all kno its always your fault!!)

youre always uber up tight bout everything, u gotta loosen up, if youre having family problems or something, u kno u can tell us anything ,)

Whoa whoa whoa. My fault? Whose fault was it? Ask yourself. When I asked about codenames, was that a rhetorical question I asked earlier? Was it directed at you, ImSpartacus? No? Thought not.

Have you not read my post? There are quotations over "your" mainly because it's actually Bungie's property.

It's not that I'm uberuptight, it's just that my patience wears extremely thin when talking with you mainly because you never listen, and seem to be hot for a flame war with me. (Just for your information, you're never gonna get one.)

Again, bring it up with a mod if you have a problem with anything I've said instead of taking the coward's way and whining about me on the forum.
