Subject: What's the best game you've played? Besides Bungie games.

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

And please tell what console(s) it was on.
One of my favorites was Golden Sun on the GBA. It's sequel was pretty awsome too.

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

Star Wars:Battlefront! Especially on Xbox Live.

I wouldn't call it the best, but I have been playing a lot of Burnout 3, and I must say it's pretty badass.

Probably strategy games. I'm a big buff of them. My favorites being an older game called "Battlezone" with excellent gameplay that I have NEVER seen rivaled, and the Homeworld series because I love the huge space battles and the concept, as well as the story.

Decent: Freespace 1 (plus the xpac) and 2. And if any of you space sim players out there (like the star wars space sims) love the genre I implore you to find and purchase any one of these games. They're both kick ass awesome.

Escape Velocity Overide was one of the best ever but I think Morrowind takes the cake as best non-bungie game ever.

Tough choice. My favorite Classic N64 games are Goldeneye, Rouge Squadron, and the world is not enough.

My favorite xbow game other than Halo would have to be either Shadow Ops: Red Mercury or Starwars: Battlefront. It's hard fo me to decide.

Yes, the first 2 Baldur's gate games, and Ice Wind Dale 1 and 2. Fallout and Fallout 2. Marathon (of course).

Ummm... All of the Prince of Persia games (Yes there are 4 of them!!!!!!!), and Mashed on Xbox is one of the best party games ever made!

Infantry. back in the day that game didnt have enough room for ppl to play in it. i learned all my stratgies and battle tatcis from the short 3 years playing that game. the graphics werent the best but having 120 ppl charge on to the battle field/heal teamates/build turrents and sentrys/cloak and sneak attack or ctf, that feeling cannot be beaten by anything that exists today.....not even Halo2 on XBL. the complete sense of communtity in most clans was amazing, commradery between ppl youve never meet needing a help against unspeakable odds. oh wut a game. many diffrent modes such as, ctf, Bughunt, boom ball kept this game intersting but game modes aside it was the ppl who made you keep coming back, keep wanting more to be better than everyone else. the weapons variaty was massive to say the least. class speific weapons/armor/grenades/and specials all availbe at the hit of a key, no cycle throughs just a point and now you have shot with your assualt rifle or a MML. if i had to chose between having anygame or getting back those ppl and that game.....i chose infantry.

So many memories...I remember TIE Fighter, and Escape Velocity Override too. I loved those games. If I still had them, I would play them for sure. Unfortunatley I don't, so I'm going to stick with Ace Combat 04. That game had unrivaled graphics and a pretty cool story, even if it's gameplay could've used some tweaking. Fox 2, Fox 2!! :D
