kim...psk...its not the conroe...check it out...
anyways L1 and L2 is the memory a cpu uses to processe stuff, similar to ram in that it is temperary, but right on the cpu and its tiny, L1 is uber close to the cpu and its like a couple kb, and L2 is still pretty damn close but its around 2 mb, but thats for one core, if u have a dual core u usually have 2 mb for each core (tid bit alert- the new core 2 duo (not conroe dammit) has 2 to 4 mb for both cores depending on wat model u get, so if u have the better ones with 4 mb of l2 and one of the cores is only using 1 mb of l2, then the other can benefit from 3 mb, so that = better proformance).
actually, it's still the conroe. core 2 duo is the product name. conroe is the core name.
