Now that I have your attention:

I know this is a rather stupid train of thought, but I've been mulling it over the past few days or so. After Halo 2, whats in store for Bungie? I haven't seen any hints on the site (if i've missed them, kindly link me and mock me behind my back) or seen anything of any truth floating about the boards. Anybody have any thoughts, ideas and whatnot? Please keep the content somewhat smart, and I beseech the mods to delete the posts of anybody who may be sub-standard.

Personally I'd like to see a combination first person RPG medival kinda game. Bungie's games all (save for the first origional) seem to have excellent story lines for their times, and I think maybe a game that takes that a step further and meshing FPS and RPG into one would be wicked cool.

Just a thought.

No one really knows what Bungie has in store for us next except Bungie themselves. However, we do know that it will be something different than Halo 3 (I think...) I would post the quote, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

They will probably come out with something new and orignal or something that they haven't done yet. I would like them to take a whack at a RPG. I think that they could make one awesome game, maybe a Xbox Live one! They might do another marathon, or something of the like. Possibly a Halo 3 on the Xbox 2. Whatever they do Im sure its going to be great and I will for sure purchase it.

As far as the Bungie employees go, as they have said, most of them are going on vacation for a few weeks. As far as their next project goes, I agree with the slayer45... an RPG would be nice, and I'd surely buy it.

naturally vacations and such are in order, the poor slaves at Bungie have been working relentlessly for God knows how long. I think they deserve every bit of their break (my sentaments go out to Frankie who slaves through the PR end of things while his comrades take some R&R) and I know that Halo 3 is, at this time, a farce and a rumour on the wind.

I agree however that anything they do produce, I'll purchase it with glee and furvor.

<insert><shameless plug> I think a great place for post Halo 2 vacations is the great white north of canada *wink wink* </shameless plug>
