I know that the point of the Bungie forums is not to chat; however, a pinned chat thread might cut down on the spamming of other threads and it would keep more members active. I understand the problems with this idea, but I think it is worth a trial run.

There is irc.bungie.org that people can chat in, just most people don't know about it. Maybe there should be another sticky in The Flood about it or something.

Yeah, IRC is the best real time chat you can get. Someone is always on in #moap.

I agree with all those who pointed our IRC. It's a great tool and you can make your own chatrooms.

bah

I feel an official Bungie chatroom would be far more effective, IBO is somewhat of a private club, not a public romping ground.

On the Bungie server? Never tried that.

Not a Bungie server, per say, a Bungie.org server.

Well, yes. Its not an official Bungie server, but it does its job nonetheless.

Care to rethink that?

Anyway, IBO and Subnova are great places to go and chat with other Bungie fans. I sincerely suggest you read up on IRC before jumping into the mix, it'll be a ton of help.

Here is a great place to get started, courtesy of IBO, and once you get connected and into a channel, go here to learn about all of the different commands, user modes, and channel modes.

Underground Pleasure - aren't you a bit curious?

Well...if you think about it. All the public forums are basically filled with chat threads, except...the threads should be focused with one topic.
