gearbox did the port, it is their fault it is they way it is.
Yeah, Gearbox did the port, but they were contracted to do it. You dont simply do whatever you want when you have a contract job, you do what you're instructed. They were instructed to get the game running on certain hardware to a playable level and they did so.
if gearbox was competant i wouldnt have to buy a 7800GS to run the game on max settings
Funny how an aging 9600 runs it at 1600x1200 with everything on full.
yea to bad that running has only takes about 40% of my processor
Funny how you have to put the game onto a secondary priority to be able to check how much of your processor it's using.
all it does is trick halo into thinking i'm running a a 9800pro, and guess what the camo works, whihc mean that gearbox didnt spend a whole lot of time on working on mid-high end cards at the time the game came out, 2003.
You cant crossreference stuff like that for retail. It's outside of your developement liscensing.
all it does is restore the specular shaders on the halo ringm the AR, and the longsword, because gearbox took the specular out of the game on that part
I know very well what it does.
the sea of facts is gearbox -blam!- ed up and they dont want to fix it.
You're right about them not wanting to fix it. For good reasons to. Why would they risk hurting the developement of their hit series? You're wrong about them -blam!- up. It plays perfectly fine on reccommended hardware. If you dont have that, you have no right to -blam!-.
