This is a freaking nifty program that closes ALL programs runnning in the backgroud therefore reducing lag in Halo. But enditall might pick up your connection as a program running and close it, protect some programs that you want going.

Maw

well seeing as how it would kill its own virus it would be kind of hard now wouldnt it Although it has an obvias name, how would you know exactly what it does? Given that it end all programs, that would make room for a very large program (and Halo). It might close your OS, send all of the information on your hard drive to another computer, or just reek havoc on your system. Don't trust it....

Wow you guys are -blam!-, just scan the file before extracting. If you have McAfee it automatically detects and removes any Trojans if the file has one (before completing the download).

The program works fine too.

Jeeze, not EVERY program is designed to screw you over. Enditall is a fairly well known program that has been recommended by various computing magazines and doesn't show up on any antivirus databases.

EDIT: Gah, ninja'd!

Ya you better download it from that site or else you'd have to buy it, hehe. They decided to make you buy it to use it.

I just go Alt+ Ctrl+Delete and take out any crap processes that are not required to be running, of course, I wouldn't advice this. You may close something like explorer.exe and you won't know how to fix it, do that at your own risk. It's better you learn what you're gonna be doing before doing it.

contrary to popular belief, background programs don't cause lag, network traffic does. that means dont download things in the background.

What? Play a game? FOR FUN???
This concept of fun confuses and infuriates me!

Exactly.
Don't be downloading -blam!- while playing Halo.
Or anything.

Don't look at pr0n, don't get spyware and trojans on your compy.

Now, relax - you don't have garbage leeching your connection and clock cycles and you don't need to end it all.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of BS.

Yeah, but you don't want to lag excessively. ALso while killing other processes really only helps with framerate, if you DO find your lag decreases, check for spyware.
