Yes, Mac users and Windows users can play with each other over Halo's multiplayer.

Just read the stickies and you should have all the information you need. The Maw gatherings happen every Tuesday and Thursday, around 8 PM EST (I think) where members of the Maw can come and play at the Bungie.net Maw Server.

well, usually every tuesday and thursday nights at 7PM EST (correct me if I'm wrong), at server IP 8.2.0.184, is a gathering for all the players from the maw.

You can play it from a mac or pc. I believe simonjester has a mac, and I played him, and I got windows.

So the next gathering should be this coming tuesday (july 8th).

It's actually at 8pm and people come early. Usually like me. Since you're ognna bei n them get you name known by the regulars! Post around here, become a regular. And plus, that way you can joke around with us during the gatherings. You won't feel like an outsider. And make sure to get Xfire!

I think you can't download and install Xfire because you're using a Mac.

I've got a question about the Maw gathering... How come everytime I comes to these nooblet fests I get banned for 'aimbotting?' When I'm actually not aimbotting. Do you kiddies just like to cry about getting owned?

Eh, never met you, so it wasnt me. Plus, I'm not really one to whine about someone aimbotting, unless they are. Which its pretty easy to tell after a while.

Its iggly or w/e that has banned me twice. Both times he or she said I was aimbotting, neither of which I was botting. I never bot, its lame, and takes away the point of playing anyway.

Well Iggwilv is the leader (ur somethin) of the server and he knows pretty much everything about halo pc so I believe him if he said you were aimbotting.

Welcome to the Maw. Yah, Macs work just fine for Halo. But there's no X-fire for Mac. Try Teamspeex for voice communication in game. I'm still fiddling with it. Also CE, (custom edition), does not work on Mac.
