Frankie,
The following linked article was written by John C. Dvorak, detailing how 'posers' and 'pranks' have ruined many online communities. I bring it up because of how my Halo 2 online experiences have significantly persuaded me not to play online multiplayer games of Halo 2 for the forseeable future (which is a stupid phrase 'forseeable future' but I think you get the point). It is very rare for me to play against guys that are not constantly yelling or screaming obscenities into their headsets just for the sake of being annoying. I'd gladly mute them but you can't do that during an actual game. It is too easy to get an account on Xbox Live and it is too difficult to stop behavior of this type from happening through the Live feedback system. I hope to see a viable solutions someday, and a Bungie-governed community would be great for starters. On sites like Digg.com a member can report 'trolls' or 'flamers' and those articles or comments are demoted. This has an actual effect on whether or not the negative contributions are seen or heard. I think the ability to speak through the Xbox communicator is a privalege and it should be temporarily removed or something when the option is abused. I am aware of what I risk exposing myself to when stepping out into an online community but I have had plenty of better experiences than this. I also don't believe that Xbox Live members should be paying for a service that results in constant verbal assaults. It's a shame that one of the most enjoyable aspects of Halo has been turned into a place where a leisurely gamer cannot hope to have an enjoyable time without having to deal with people who seem to get pleasure out of being annoying. Thanks.

I think u r eather very unlucky or very whiney because i have none of those problems. On matchmaking u dont hear any1 half da time, and in custom matches if sum1 is being annoying ask the leader 2 boot them, or mute them urself. Every 1nce and a while i get sum1 who is a jerk, and if they get too annoying just report them.
I think u r making a big deal about a problem none the less, but one that u can probably solve urself.
