Short answer: you need to experiment with the settings yourself.

Slightly longer answer: Because there are so many other factors that affect Halo while you're playing, just giving us your hardware specs is not going to allow us to help you in this case. Other things, such as how many other programs are loaded while you're playing, the version of your OS and drivers, when the last time you did a fresh OS install, your DirectX version, whether you OC or not, and other things like that will all affect your performance level to one degree or another. Even if we did have all this information, the only way we could tell you with any certainty what settings you should be running would be to experiment with them ourselves. Experiment and find out. It doesn't take that long.

I assume you mean gfx settings? With that spec I'd think you could go full on everything. Nice work with your PC dude.

Heyyo,

Here's my specs, it's weaker than yours so you can probably go higher than me.
AMD Athlon XP 1900+
Sapphire's ATI Radeon 9600 PRO (Diver version: 4.9 Catalyst, going to upgrade to v4.10 when I get home...)
512mb Generic PC2700 RAM
MSI K7N2 Ultra Motherboard
Creative's Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer

Yeah, on haloCE he could go full specs. What I like to do is experiment with the options, and then open up halo inna "-timedemo" mode n' then check the benchmark. my settings are this (for norm HaloPC):

---video---
640x480
120Hz
No Vsync
No specular
No shadows
Yes Decals
high particles
High Textures

---audio---
Disabled hardware mode
Disabled EAX
Medium Sound quality
Medium amount of different sound files (you won't be able to tell the diff between medium n' high anways.. 15 sound files that barely differenciate ain't worth the extra cpu usage I say)

I noticed for my Soundcard my frames went UP by 3f/s when I disabled hardware drivers... odd eh? but then again I'm using old drivers cause the new ones suck cause they keep popping and crackling...

And on the benchmark I get like, 48F/s I think... I'll check when i get home

On HaloCE I can turn on Specular n' Shadows n' the frames are pretty steady around 50F/S. :)
