"Halo: Combat Evolved " - by Papa John
Halo: Combat Evolved was released in 2001 for the Xbox by Bungie Studios. It was an epic game, with an epic story to match. Here is the story prior to the game:
The year is 2552, Earth's colonies are being destroyed by a ruthless enemy, The Covenant, a band of alien races brought together by one common religion. With technology thousands of years ahead of Humanity and with seemingly limitless numbers, the war that has been ongoing for nearly thirty years now is reaching its sad close.
The Covenant were getting closer to Earth, but without knowing it, it's location was still a mystery to them.
The planet Reach was Humanity's largest Military installment. Reach was home to Naval Offices, Headquarters, Orbital Weaponry, the Remains of a fleet, and even the secret SPARTAN-II Project training grounds where Humanity's finest soldiers had been trained since the age of six. Reach was also near Earth.
The Covenant found Reach, and annihilated the Human forces there with little opposition. A single ship, The Pillar Of Autumn carrying the presumed-to-be last Spartan-II Warrior (The Master Chief, SPARTAN-117) fled from the battle with the aliens hot on its trail. It jumped to slip space on random co-ordinates in a desperate attempt to lure the Covenant away from Earth.
What The Pillar of Autumn would find, would change not only the war, but Human History, forever.

A Word:
This is one of my first forays into the movie-making scene. It took quite awhile to come up with, but there was also much reward.
This particular video showcases Halo's great story, without giving too much away. It expresses the sad last voyage of the Pillar of Autumn, Humantiy's despertion and a general introduction to the Halo storyline, without ruining the mind-blowing twists of the later levels.
I hope you all enjoy my entry.
Good Luck, and Thanks,
Papa John
