I strongly think it should be loosened. No reason...it just should. It might make Teh Floodzorrz more interesting.
How, exactly, would you be able to discuss someone else's life except for saying either "Wow, must be hard" or "Wow, wish I was you"?
I guess that's kind of what people are trying to get at.
I understand that everyone wants their post to be read and have 1000 replies telling them how good their ideas are. But people need to understand: Not everyone is interested in your life. Seriously, unless you have pretty White Text, no one is going to care about what you think, or how you react, unless you pose the question to them. That is why the No Blog Rule is enforced. Without it, people would feel the need to post every little problem (like that whole "This girl likes me, what should I do?" spree).
I don't know about you guys, but I can only discuss love/death/relationships/personal problems so much. I want to discuss things that we can all take part in. And about the moderators getting to "blog," well I guess it's ok. Shishka does enough work around here to warrent at least one thread about his personal life. And his "Lock n'Mock" approach stems from the fact that he and Stosh were the original moderators, so it's natural that they play the part of the "hard-ass", all we need to do is follow the rules and we won't invoke anything from them.
