before i start, just know that im callin it UN just cus i dunno but i know that some of ur political positions will shun the name but we can change that.

ok anyway, i thought maybe a group like this would have reps from each of the groups and they would state their problems and as a council they would decide what to do about it and that the bungie.net chapter founders and leaders should but dont have to listen to them. something like this was already mqde...the 7th column council, but im talking about delegates from each group so that the group reps decide what to do so its their decision and they are not pressured or anything from something from the outside

we have, have had, and will always have them. the problem is all of them suck and don't really help out the 7th column. the only one that is really still around and works is CF, and no one really goes there anymore, unfortunately.

"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

With thousands of groups, all with different member numbers, this idea makes me question some things. For instance, are we expected to gather the decisions and input of all of these groups? What about the groups with less than 100 members? With less than 50? Do they have the same pull as the groups like MBT or PF, with over a thousand members?

Most importantly to me, how is this supposed to help? Group wars need to be settled, but I am not seeing much that this group could do other than that. Mind explaining this a bit more?

its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.

I had the same idea, but I concluded the Chapter Founders group already served such purpose.

But this is somewhat related.

For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

There shouldn't be any need for a "UN" type group. The Community is like that already. Adding a group to serve as a gathering of all groups wouldn't benefit anything. Espcially since groups are private and not part of the main forums.

Good idea but I highly doubt it would help out at all.

first off, i was talking about the major groups, mbt, odst recon, master chiefs online, groups like that, and not talk about everything in the groups, just the concerns within the groups, and if nobody goes to cf anyumore why dont we make a new cf and try to get it back

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

So the smaller groups are excluded? Heh. And have fun trying to solve the problems in those group.

Anyone else notice that if you put UN in front of anything, you get things like-

UN Needed Forum Council

It may work in the real world, but here, not so much. It would be way too hard to force everyone to join one chapter. In fact, In a way, we already have a chapter that functions in a vaguely similar way: Chapter Founders. And it seems to be doing very well lately, thank you.

For Everything else theres the Master Chief

let me just say this, the idea has already been taken and the fact the "UN" and problems go together states the fact that there are already problems in the world and there are some people that are on bungie and are from differant racial groups and hate eachother beside the UN in life is already screwed up lets not make a ditto of it anyway... if this went out as if you said it would totaly screw up bungie forums and ruin the entire experiance for everyone. Beside what problems are there to discuss? a few dissagreements between clans? No, were talking about the end of the world in real life... just let this idea go

Didn't Papa John make a chapter caled 7th Column Assembly or something?

He watches every Hodgetwin video they put up...on ALL their channels. He calls them the Hodge Triplets, and considers himself the 3rd triplet. He's started talking and acting like them now. Every other line out of his mouth "Thaaas some BULLLLLL**** maaayne" or "Gotta make dem gainzzzz". He calls his biceps "gains". When he eats post-workout, he talks to his biceps, "Don't worry gains, I'm feeding you. Daddys gonna feed you, gainz *kisses biceps*".

I don't really see the point of a UN thing other than it would be cool...

Just like the real UN! (sorry I had to)

They're good ideas in theory, but they don't seem to work out in practice

I highly coubt that a "UN" group would be efficient enough to warrant its existence.

Well if it isn't a group, then why don't we allow the problems to come to these forums? The mods have a strong influence here, everyone would behave, and anyone stirring up trouble would be reported by the mods/members and then Achronos or another administrator might be able to do something about it.

You know? I heard that this forum was infact a group that was so successful that they had to make a forum for it. If this is true, than it would be fairly easy to make it like the above idea, because everyone is a member of the main forums, if they aren't, then they obviously aren't part of the chapters either. Or maybe we could use the Classifieds forum for that, it would generate some sort of use for the forum besides advertising. Maybe it could be for the whole 7th Column thing, but isn't that what the Septagon is for?

I think I like my idea, let's see if anyone else does.
