I'm a newb at making vids through windows movie maker, so don't burn me to bad. how do you take the sound out of video so you can add your own audio. i went to edit and then to audio levels but it's not making a difference. and where should this actually be.

first off, get Windows Movie Maker 2, second off, this program is ease to learn but it tends to slow down, freeze, and crash. Search for a manual to learn how the program works, I personally use Windows Movie Maker 2, sadly.............do'h.

I would tell you, but I use Premier...so I know nothing of Windows Movie Maker.... more than likely there is just a toggle somewhere that turns the audio track on and off

Edit: Just realized this was in the Library, you need to move it to The Flood
