Yes, pm any of the regulars about "Shineeyz," they'll know what your talking about, i'm not sure it does anything but shine your AR, flag, longsword, try turning your graphics up if nothing else.

First off, that montage has some awesome gameplay.

I think it's because this dude's got a ATI card. Look, the active camo effect doesn't work with Nvidia cards, but it can work with ATI cards.

Maybe the maps are shiny because his settings are high?

Mine can make it really shiy but my procsser cant maintian it and it crashes. Thats why i play it at 640x800 its still very shiny tho. And i can still se me shine lol.

They're just different shaders. If you wanted to get technical, change the specular properties in HeH's shaders to your liking.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

i dont know what you're talking about. I have a nvidea chipset and I can kind of see the person as if he is a ghost. Just a little red blur running around kind of. How does it look on ati card?completely invisble?

Well, as people earlier have said, it's probably the graphics card. I mean I don't have shiny graphics, due to the complete lack of power in my integrated chipsets, but I can live with it.

Higher framrates > eye candy

BTW, speaking of graphics cards, whatever happened to TMH1988? I haven't seen him for quite a while. =/

You see, on the GeForce cards, it simply makes people with active camouflage look very transparent, but on the ATI cards, you get a shimmering effect. So instead of being really transparent, you get this cool distortion effect.

On (most) ati cards, such as radeon 9200 on my bro's computer, active camo is actually camoflague.

If you stand against a rock wall, MC looks brown. If you're up on top of a hill, you'll look blue to blend with the sky. If you're on a base, you turn gray. It actually gives a large advantage to Ati users, as it's actually much easier to spot than normal xbox active camo.

on (most) ati cards such as the X300 and up the active camo does help you to avoid being seen.
It is see-through, but the light from behind the mc is distorted and warped (which creates a very cool effect.
On cards like the radeon 9200 the card attempts to distort the light and infact only ends up with making the chief a solid color (like blue or brown)which is very easy to see.
