at the occasional weekly or bi-monthly LAN parties, we start with a warm-up FFA slayer, probably shottie or headshots, then play a 2 hour long CTF assault on BG, then eat pizza, talk, and play random games for another 5 hours or so. between games, we talk about god moves, kills, etc. that is pretty much what every LAN party consists of

aww c'mon nooblet... rules are rules but does anybody follow them? sometimes i refer to these things as merely guidelines... for team play the only thing we ever use is human weapons and CTF there is basically 3 levels about 12-16 of us play... Damnation, Hang Em, and my fav... Gulch. the only time you dont want to start out with a pistol is on hang em simply because me and about 3 others named "b-wheeze" or wehausen, Ur Own Gun.. .which is -blam!-... and Jus... Ur own gun and jus sometimes cant come through with much when they are against you and steal your kills when ythey are on your team.... CTF 5 flags human weapons and all vehicles. its good to have a lot of team games going and start a night out with some shotgun FFA to decide teams... sometimes... and king of the hill all the weapons on either rat race, Hang em, or damnation. there are a couple other out of game rules such as keep Ians huge body away from the outlets before he fries his arm again and always bring a lot of dew and pizza. we like to start with 6 cubes on average and if you can get the stuffed crust pizzas... preferrably 10+. oh... and when ian turns purple and gags all over the place... it means he's choking

For Slayer:
I love Slayer Pro on Hang 'Em. Regular weapons and powerups.
Prisoner my fav 1v1 map with regular weapons and such, best
if you can get a system link to avoid screen looking. Derelict on
Slayer Pro is fun too. Rockets on Hang 'Em can be good fun,
and snipers on Sidewinder are always a good bet.

For CTF:
I really don't like massive Halo matches with 9+ people because
it's too easy to die, but BG and Sidewinder are fun with that many
people. (reg. guns, hogs only) I know this is a weird one, but 4v4
on Damnation is Hella fun to me. Lot's of cool grenade jumps and
flag tricks to be had there.

we always do team games we usually do snipers, rockets, or shottyz in team slayer and ctf. Usually 10-16 people. Start off with shotty at wizard or something and a few ctf gamess cause tehy take forever. The teams just depend on where u sit but if they get to overpowered on oneside we will switch them up. Then we get pizza oh did i mention we use three projectors so the screen is the size of the wall and then the 20 something inch tv. It is a lot of fun and maybe 1 or 2 ffa games. I personnaly like the ffa shotty and ffa rockets i usually get 1st or 2nd. Everyone has a chance at winning which is cool no one is overpowering anyone else and maybe 1 or 2 people suck really bad cause its thier first time. have u guys ever played a messed up controls game if u play default do like boxer southpaaw something messed up and if u have inverse change it so u dont or vice versa it is reallly crazy

All you have to make sure of is that Ian Martin's body is no where near any power/ethernet cables and no where near the pizza/dew and you should be fine.
