Need less forum posters with double standards.
You can't complain about overhyping a game and whining that we cut things (a.k.a the ATV) like a bunch of you did regarding Halo 2, and then turn around and complain that you're not getting enough info about Halo 3.
The game is coming is 2007. This is 2006. Expecting more than what you're getting right now is not something that will lead you to happiness.

Needs less updates that suck ass. By this point in development of Halo 2 we had seen quite a bit of at least renders and had some knowledge. Figuring how the game might come out next July on the 7th (7.7.07) or most likely in November of 2007, that puts Halo 3 11-15 months from launch, and although the weekly updates only started in Jan. 04, 10 months from Halo 2 launch, we still had some info on the game. With Halo 3, there is relatively no new information that other than what we know from the trailer. And no, I don't want to know a ton of information about the game, just some teasers and maybe a screen every few weeks/months.
In my opinion, what was released in this update was the perfect amount of info at this time of year. Not so little that you feel like you waited a week for nothing (of which there have been 1 or 2), but not so much that we feel the Bungie is making a mistake.
Overall, this is my new fave update.
I totally agree! If every update had this much info, I'd be happy. It's just enough to whet our appetites, but not enough to give anything away- I love it. Here's hoping for some screenies or something sometime relatively soon. I'm dying for anything!
<------ Such a Halo 3 info whore right now.
