I think the picture at the end is just saying that the reason "Halo Movie" info was canceled was because of maybe a re-shoot or something. Like... Shooting range, you know. They're maybe redoing some of the stuff that was going to be in the Update, so they had to cancel it last minute... Dunno, might sound stupid, might not, but it doesn't matter what you all think! :-D
Chief obviously has a new suit in the trailer. You can see some small details in the armor that weren't in Halo 2, and that's not because of the graphics. In my opinion, that desert colored armor looks 'cooler' anyways.
No weapons are confirmed yet, to be honest. In a previous update, Frankie talks about loving the Assault Rifle, but also mentions that it isn't guaranteed to be in the game. Thus meaning that none of the weapons that he's used is guaranteed. Still, it's safe to say that the AR, Shotgun, Carbine, and both Sniper Rifles will return to the series. I think it's also safe to say that the Ghost, Banshee, Worthog, and Scorpion Tank will return.
As for the "shooting Grunts" part, that's a bit more complicated. For all we know, some Grunts have not joined the rebellion (mentioned by another poster before me) or later the Grunts and the rest of the rebelling team gain back their 'dignity' and decide to go back to their prior beliefs of despising humans and use their 'superior' weaponry. Besides, having Elites and Hunters on your team might seem to make things a lot easier, unless Brutes decide to wear that Energy Shield. Who knows, only Bungie. We'll just need to wait for either more updates or the game ^_^
Anyways, once again, great update, and for the fans, KEEP WISHING FOR SCREENSHOTS, MAYBE BUNGIE WILL PLEASE US WITH SOMETHING :-D
+Edit:
Okay, I just had to add this because I went back up and read some more of peoples posts. I realized that so many people are unaware that the Covenant Rebellion did NOT team up with the Master Chief, nor anyone else that wasn't there at Delta Halo. The only Human help that the Rebellion recieved was from, like, two surviving Marines, Sergeant Johnson, and Miranda Keyes. For all we know, the Rebellion would've killed the Humans too, but didn't because the Sarge was already in control of the Scarab.
By the way, that foot in the picture wasn't from the Desert Brigade picture. There is no foot pointing down in that. If anything, its from the one where he's holding the "fully-automatic" Battle Rifle. It's a really old picture.interesting notions. while i can believe certain groups here and there may forgo their species' overall alliance, i believe most are set on their leaders' positions in the conflict. other marines survive the little battle tryst at the scarab, and remain untouched. after tartarus dies, does anyone make a move for sarge or keyes? no. it may be an uneasy alliance, but an alliance no less. question is, will the delta halo forces go for earth, or launch a campaign against high charity? seek out the other rings? wage war against covenant homeworlds supporting Truth?
dunno meself, but it's fun to ponder.
Seems that I, myself, have forgotten some details myself ^_^ Well, the fact that the Rebellion did not harm the humans does make things more interesting, and the Rebellions next path is so unpredictable as of now. It is indeed fun to ponder :-D
