Watch the video at gametrailers and also the twenty second video at ign features a rocket launcher. If you've already seen them, then you know just as much as i do. I imagine the distance would be quite far. I just hope that the rockets arent to good at homing if you know what i mean. I would expect the rockets to loose track if the driver performs a sharp turn or something. I doubt its full on homing missile, chasing people through small gaps and stuff.

I think that if they give the rocket launcher the homing feature, then they should balance it out with some countermeasures on the Warthog (i.e., flare, chaff, etc.). Not to mention it'd look cool. I also think that you should be able to shake the lock like the other guy said, with sharp turns or (my addition) going off a cliff (like on BG). It would really be nice if you could fool it into taking another vehicle (by driving straight at an enemy hog or other vehicle and then turning at the last moment, maybe it would mistake the two infrared signatures [if that's how it tracks]) and track the enemy hog instead of yours.
