I don't assume what it is, and you shouldn't either. It makes no sense for a carbine to be such an accurate weapon - carbines are generally smaller versions of full rifles (ex. the M4A1 is the carbine version of the M16A1, the AKS-74 is the carbine version of the AK-74, etc.) and therefore are less accurate. They are generally used indoors where the power of the rifle round is needed but the long rifles are too clumsy for use. Basically, carbines are the middle ground between a sub machinegun and a rifle.
i like to highlight the part where you say "carbines are generally smaller versions of full rifles " and just like to underline the word generally witch usually means not always, and also it's hard to tell from the picture but they look a little bigger tham the old plasma rifle.
