I like the new navbars, it totally rocks and an amazing design, however they are a bit to big, take a look at the bungie logo at the top, look at the size man(suddenly i feel small and insignificant)! it would be nice if you guys could just shrink it a bit.
And oh yeah, more posts on one page.

Yea the new b.net is great... although I'm not really happy with the new forum, 2 small, confusing (like if posting something the topic doesn't appear on top) they should just have used phpBB or something like that.

The only real problem I've found is the bottom navigation bar (which looks brilliant) sticks in the middle sometimes. Maybe if you had the option to drag it up and down or something it would make it easier to read some pages. Other then that it all looks great.

The topics and posts were going to be expanded to 25 per page, but there was a bug in the code found at the end that prevented it. Don't ask, but it will probably eventually be increased.

As for the navbar on the bottom. I think you'll find it jarring at first, and then you'll slowly get used to it. I've been using it for a few months now, and I really didn't like it at the beginning. But now, I'm really used to it and it just makes sense. We've found that most experienced web users don't like it at first, but eventually warm up to it.

The only thing that we really want to do with layout is to make it so that the layout uses more width when it is available. There are browser issues preventing it, but our UI web dev is on the job. She's been researching ways to get around the problem. Hopefully she'll figure it out and make it so those of you with larger monitors can have more screen space.

Regardless, your comments are appreciated. Keep them coming!

The amount of topics and posts viewable per a page leaves a bit to be desired. Having only ten is kind of annoying and bothersome. I would have at least twenty viewable per page.

My only other problem is that bar at the bottom of the screen. I guess you'd call it a Navigation Bar, but it's kind of annoying, especially the circle-thingy. I would prefer just a pull-down menu thing, though it wouldn't look as cool.

The number of posts/topics per page will probably be increased eventually. As for topic posting, well, topics are posted in chronological order, no "bumping" here. Moderators can (and should) pin important discussions up top.

You, Claire, Brian, and the rest of the team have done a great job! For a first release, I think this site is pretty damn well polished! Keep up the good work! (And read my bug report! =S)

I'd really like to be able to link to off site avatars. It doesn't really do anything to bandwidth, does it?

Thanks for the feedback. Are you mostly referring to the big Bungie logo in the upper left?

Yeah, the Bungie logo with the animations. Its an awesome logo. But It gets in the way, specifically in the forums and such when trying to read.

Great job with the new site, yes the top left icon, the bungie logo animation, does get in the way. also while scrolling down sometimes the bottom toolbar gets tuck in middle of the page, would this be because its loading up or something? I'll post link to pictures of the 7th column logo I am machining out of aluminum to be put in a gyrating circle to spin in the wind around here. I have it fully designed but its going through the program on the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) mill at school thats the hard part, I have to first machine a special holder for holding the piece in that mmachine while I make it. I hope to give it out as first prize in a clan promotional tournament I hope to hold sometime this summer where ever I may be living, which looks to be like it'll be connecticut.

whew long post, but I just wanted to update all of you on my doings.
