Either they are not done yet and the fixes don't take effect yet, or they are things we don't see or notice, (maybe they have to do with speed, not looks). Or maybe it's their business, not ours.

To Make Posts is Glorious

Some threads will get posts before others and it is the duty of the Leadership to ensure that posts are made that best suit the public welfare.

"heh"

It's usually server stuff. So it makes no visible difference.

I think they were down because they were fixing that post error. Yesterday it was very hard to post without getting an error.

I know, I had to log on and off several times as well as wait a minute or two for a post to be posted or show up with an error screen. Oh, by the way, you forgot to put a word after very, like hard.

Yes, well, even the moderators have the occasional mistake. I am normally very careful about this....

I don't see why there would be a need for visible changes, especially since the new hotness was implemented years ago.

Like someone already said, it was probably just server stuff.

They are always doing minor work that keeps the forums functioning. Just a lot of behind the scenes stuff you dont even know is there, but it deffinetly affects you and all of us.

The first time was moving servers, this time probably bugs. Most of the time is just normal stuff that microsoft makes them do, while the other half is just bugs. Don't worry new stuff being added soon.

Bungie.net isn't like the weather - it doesn't have to change ALL the time. Just be happy with what you got, and remember, many new features will be implemented soon.

Probably because they are just working on Forum bugs and the sort like that. Nothing to effect the aesthetic look...most in likely.

Think of it like your body's Krebs cycle. You don't see it, but yes, it is most definitely needed.

The updates were in the News. The site was moved to a different server site, so that required a DNS record to be updated on all ISPs in order for your computers to hit the new site location. That requires some time to complete and replicate thru the internet. There also could be database changes, re-indexing and other SQL maintanence that needs to take place in order to keep a site like this running smooth.
