Lol the point is they didn't, i agree it would help balance it out but they didn't.

Yeah, you're right.

Maybe the designers should think more about the possibilities or the outcome of future matches before they confirm one ultra strong weapon in a small map. They should put more time and patience into Halo3 Multiplayer.

The point is that it is even because everyone has the opportunity. I don't care what they have, I am confident that with communication and teamwork that I can take out absolutely anything. Gang up on the banshee or the sword. Claim the power weapons for yourself and totally dominate. You all have the same tools at the start, and even with an advantage for the other team with their banshee you can take it out and use it for your team. It's simple. If you'd quit complaining and enjoy the whole aspect of the game, you would find that there is skill in using a banshee. Have you ever single handedly raped a base of skilled players on Infinity with a lone shee? That's fun and skillful. There is even more skill in taking one out with communication and teamwork.

You have nothing to complain about except your own bad luck, and even when you're furthest away from the banshee or power weapon, the door has not closed on your team winning. Force that damned door back open with your team's help and some well-laid impromptu plans.

Now, as for FFA, the only thing you can do is hide from the shee or sword if you didn't get it. This is where I agree with you, because you don't get help. You're screwed.

I only play team games anyway, so the FFA part was kind of patched on when I remembered that there is plain old Slayer.

I actually looked at each individual point in your post before the edit. I addressed all of them with one response. There's no way I ignored you.

You say that one person gets the sword and wins the game for their team. Same goes for banshees. I disagree and say that you can gang up on the swordwielder or pilot and kill them to take the weapon or vehicle for yourself, proving my point that it's a level playing field in a team game as long as you work together.

EDIT:I see, there was a large amount of posts I hadn't read. You're discussing Halo 2. The same rule applies.

FURTHER EDIT: Please list what you think I ignored so I can debate properly. Show me points I haven't refuted.

Agreed. It doesn't work for small team games. It is unbalanced, and that's why I partially agree with halo2sucks.com.

I'm still talking about Halo PC, where we don't have an instant death melee weapon with unlimited ammo.

The only way I can think to counter the sword is with the shotgun or from a distance. Whatever, back on topic for me.

Same works on Death Island and Infinity and it shouldn't take an entire team to kill 1 guy because he has lucky spawns.

Woot, agreed. I think you just beat me in a debate.

I double posted, but I don't care.

At least it's not like Counter Strike where you don't respawn.

Alright, you've proven your point and I have proven mine. We'll let the others fight over this one.

I have nothing left to say.

Whether it's vehicles or 'nades, (infintie nades), or HWs, use the tools at hand. I hate HWs, (using them or getting pwned by 'em), but if you don't use them your enemy will take them and use them against you.

Not all of us have Nessy's pistol prowess. I could practice till I have carpal tunnel syndrome and never get as good as he is.

I am a good vehicle driver. I tend not to try to run people over, as they'll 'nade you, or whip out a RL or FRG and blast you.

I hate getting in the gunner or passenger seat only to have the driver go out and try to run over a bunch of enemy while we're on a flag run. If we kill 'em, they're waiting for us, and often, they kill us. A lose-lose situation.

who cares if you can win? it is not impressive that you can win a game if all you do is run folk over, nobody cares about that. If you other players to actually think you are good instead of just someone that can top a server, snipe and pistol to win.

Banshees take skill to use. There's much more strategy to them than you think, Nessy. Sure, there's a bunch of idiots out there who fly banshees most of the time to ram them into the dirt trying to run people over and get their asses stuck with plasma grenade and shot down with shotguns from competent players like myself, but the banshee is a misunderstood aircraft.

Also, Nessy, are you saying that if people run over players in warthogs they are automatically noobs that can never ever be redeemed from their lowly state? Let's just say I get a killtacular in a warthog while driving my teammates to the enemy base. Does that automatically make me a noob? If that's the only way I can get kills, if that's the only thing I do all game, yes. But what if the vast majority of the game I used the pistol and the sniper rifle and got tons of headshots and 3SKs? So if I run over a person in a warthog, that makes me an inexperienced player? How else am I supposed to defend myself in that situation besides running away?

did is ay that? i said if people go into public servers and just run people over to attempt to come first suck simple. the banshee takes no skill to use, if has a frg and absolutely no weakness like every other vehicle.

If i must be brutally honest, I can't think of a single halo player that is good and all they do is play in public servers.

What the hell are you talking about, they take skill to a certain degree, do you notice that some people actually lose when fighting in shees? Shees are not for noobs, it's just that you can't take them out, cuz you don't co-operate.

Welcome to my signature, apparently I can't respond right now so please don't leave me a message, because I will not get back back to you after the beep.

shee are easy kills when none skilled players are in them just run around rock and crap wile shooting them and they cant run you over they shoot at you use rock for cover I have taken on banshies with a flame and won multiple times it doesn’t take much skill to kill them either also if your have a hard time killing one try using a tank to kill one

also people who say death island is for the noobs its not I love to snipe there its fun and takes some skill to avoid the vehicle until you get a kill

Who cares if it's for pros? What about the fun factor? Having fun? Isn't that what games are for? There's no good in being the best sniper ever in the game if you don't enjoy it.

Ok, to all those who say shees are for noobs: shut the -blam!- up why don't you? If I see a shee, I'll use it. It has a purpose in the game just like the tank. The people who fly around running people over aren't using it properly. The people who fly at the top of the map raining frg fire on people ARE using it properly. I've seen some really skilled pilots online and they aren't noobs for using a banshee. And calling people noobs because you don't like thier gaming preferences is childish and lame.

And what's the matter with thinking of Halo in the rock, paper, scizzorz mentality? You use the correct weapon to counter the enemy. The game isn't fun if you only use the pistol/sniper. The reason the vehicles are in the game is to bring some variety into what would otherwise be a boring/second rate FPS.

I don't think players should be blaming other players, they should make Bungie for making such an unbalanced and inconsistent game.

Too true.

BTW: I see the bungie servers have been totally empty lately. I've been unable to play Halo for the last three weeks, so I don't know what's goin on. I heard that there's some new aimbot that a lot of people are using. Is that why the public servers are empty?
