since i dont have xbox, i only play halo on pc. but the thing is, it diesnt show every detail the normal halo game is suposed to have. say a plasma grenade detonates. it will show a blue flash of light and fade away. or when the bullet impacts on the ground dirt will shoot up. or when you kill someone, there wont be blood splatter. this goes the same for campaign. none of that shows up on my pc.

my computer is actually a custom made pc so i dont know what brand it is, but i do know its 4 years old and with a nvidia video card.

help??

Your graphics card probably can't handle all the eye candy. You can go into the video settings and turn decals and shadows up but it will probably drag your framerate into the dirt. If you can find out what kind of video card you have we might be able to help you further.

I had a 128MB NVidia card and I also had probs. with the details so I installed the new drivers and it got strange black lines. Finaly switched to ATI Radeon it was like nite and DAY.

ATI Radeon 9550. And buy some ram, just for fun. 512 is good for Halo.
-EDIT- If you DO buy an ATI card, download the ATI Catalyst Contrlo Panel. Is cool shtuf. Doubled my framerate. (was ~15, now ~30).
