Just let me say that I love the mod and actually enjoy it alot more than the original campain. The way you beefed up the dropships and stationary guns make fighting the covenant feel the way it's supposed to feel. Plus storiming the Truth and Reconcilliation with 5 other spartans was probably one of my most enjoyable Campain expieriences for any game period. However some bugs have occured and I think it would be good to list them here for two reasons

1. People will notice the difference when you fix it in "two weeks"
2. Some of the bugs can be fixed or worked around by the average joe, and here joe can learn how to do that.

General Bugs
Chaingun shells are visible through walls.

Minor Adjusments
Apparations collision model needs work. (rear section)
Sniper scope is just transparant, not an actual scope.
"Silenced" Sniper can be heard anywhere on map

UI bugs
You cannot choose a starting map unless you have already beaten it, or beat a non-CMT version of the map

Solution hold [shift] and hit ~ then type map_name (whatever level you want. example: b40 [b40 is Assualt on the Control Room])

The "continue" button doesn't work and when you save a checkpoint it doesn't appear when you go to "load"

Solution This can be solved similarily too the above problem. When you reach a checkpoint in the game, hit "save game." To start where you left off, type map_name whatever, and it will spawn you at that checkpoint

Pillar of Autumn bugs
Spartan Collision models make it tough to run by them at the begginning of the level (when you have no weapon) which usually causes them to hit you with grenades while they fight the invincible elite.

Halo bugs
If a dropship has yet to begin it's decent sequence and you destroy it, the wreckage will hover in the air until it begins it's decent.

Truth and Reconcilliation bugs
The final cutscene doesn't work. The dropship never leaves it's dock.

Silent Cartogropher bugssp?
One of the pelicans, after dropping it's crew, flys into the cliff wall and stays there until it dissapears. Something in the flight plan got screwed up.

Assualt on the Control Room Bugs
None that I saw

Oh, and in the Truth and Reconciliation, when you're in the ship, there's a part where Foehammer flies in reinforcements from the bay door to drop off marines, but the pelican flies beneath the bay doors instead of through them, so I never got those reinforcements, and the pelican just flew away.

Give them a break. You want to release a whole, re-scripted, re-textured, re-populated single player campaign with strict deadlines and Bungie breathing down your neck? It's buggy, that's just the way it is. Deal.

Yes, but this is just a thread that we hope will help deal with any problems in the game. He already stated he thought it was awesome, and in fact, better than the original campaign itself.

They can't do anything about that. In the H2 maps for Custom Edition, this is the closest way they can emulate the sniper rifle's scope being zoomed at what you're aiming at.

Another bug in truth and reconciliaton is when I relese keys and the marines from the brig, only keys folows me out and the others just stay behind.

Right. I noticed that too.

Not to mention, the dropships, when you destroy them, they still make the engine noise.

The few, the proud, the leet.

I dont really know what discussing this any further would bring about. 90% of the bugs encountered in the CMT SP release was due to encryption to protect the work from all the newbie map makers who make low poly box geometry and throw in weapons and vehicles they think are cool and all the idiots who try to claim the content as their own. 5% of the bugs are from the lack of the Halo SDK being complete. And the rest is simply things that have randomly popped up and only one or two people have brought up.

since I have a bit of time right now, I'll go ahead and deal with this one.

The collision model is perfectly the way it's supposed to be. I call you a griper if you only have to say it needs work without being able to say what's wrong.

yeah, it was made that way and is not a bug. The 'allmighty' H2CE did the same thing, and you know what? Not a single person complained.

was only like that in beta. It was reported corrected a few days before release by multiple people.

It's the exact same in PC

you dont have to hold shift....
and you could simply use the (profile_unlock_solo_levels) script.

The "continue" button doesn't work and when you save a checkpoint it doesn't appear when you go to "load"
Updating gamesaves with checkpoints works perfectly fine....assuming you've allready got a solo level gamesave for the campaign. I myself dont have a problem along with the entire beta team.

The collision is not a problem. The problem would be you not trying to go around people or waiting for doorways to be cleared. I'd hate to have you try to go by me if I was walking through a door.

Talk to Bungie about that, and play on a stronger difficulty

While I know of a fix for this, I doubt it will be possible due to filesize restraints. Other than that, scream at Bungie for recorded animation support. It wont do you any good, but you'll try anyways.

Honestly, I'd have to think that you were playing a leaked beta build from most of the things you've said, but a single leak was never done and your gamesave issue proves that.

CMT is one of the few reasons why I don't click "Uninstall Halo Custom Edition" in my start menu.
