I use them alot, whether to take out an incoming vehicle, or to blast someone's shield then go for the kill. Yeah, they are important.

I love frag grenades. I love plasma grenades too. I just love grenades. I know how and when to throw them in firefights to get the kills faster. I can also throw them very acurately over long distances. I once stuck one of my friends with a plasma grenade in Hang 'em High when he was in the little windows by the med pack and shotgun and I was on the other side of the level on the ground. I then proceeded to yell, "Hell yeah! Three points you dirty whore!" just as Donut did in RvB when he stuck Tex.

frags are the bomb in halo. and the sweet thing about them is that you dont have to switch to them like a weapon. i dont use grenades a ton, i usually only do right as i'm about to die in a close fight, and i always end up killing the other guy right after i die.

I call that a residual grenade.

One of the things that I love about Halo is the massive improvement in grenade usage as compared to earlier FPSs.
Personally, I like using frags a whole lot more, because they detonate sooner. I only use plasma when I want to take out a vehicle, because if you stick it, the people in the vehicle are pretty much screwed.

Don't you hate it when plasma grenades bounce off of the Warthog's windshield?!

I love it when they bounce off, providing I am the driver

I like how grenades aren't a separate weapon like in RS3. You have to plan when to use them, which pretty much sucks. When wanting to use a grenade the time is too short to switch.

That's why Halo is so great. The frags are kinda like a substitute to rockets. You can put them in front of you when a warthog threatens your life.

I really like the sticking function of the plasma but of course the delay is the problem with it. If it aint stuck then most likely int gunna take out the enemy.

Its great putting grenades where no weapon (including the rocket launcher) can reach. Like bouncing them off walls into a corridor.

The M9 HE-DP is very precious to me. I only use it against "soft" targets. Never those that can take more than one. Because they are so rare.
