Ok guys Please download Halo ce its worth the download
Why HaloCE?
So you've got HaloPC and you can't really see any good reason to move over to HaloCE. First you'll notice the name, CE means Custom Edition, not Combat Evolved. Now that you know what Halo CE means, we'll tell you what HaloCE is. What are the benefits of using/playing HaloCE? Are there any downsides to HaloCE? What do I need to install HaloCE? Where can I get HaloCE? These are questions we'll do our best to answer for you.
What are the benefits of using/playing HaloCE?
Ah the joys of HaloCE. Once you've used HaloCE you won't have much of a reason for going back to HaloPC. Just take a look at the improvements HaloCE has brought us:
*
User Made Maps: Bungie's original maps and Gearbox's add-on maps are great, but they get old after playing them for so many months. HaloPC mods are cool, but limited in many ways. What's the solution to all of this? Let the users map new maps and keep the game's fresh feel. Best of all, you can still play the old Bungie and Gearbox maps if you want to, you just have the added bonus of user made maps.
*
Better Graphics Performance: That's right, now the game runs up to 60% faster. You'll see an improvement no matter what card you have and you'll enjoy your new, higher, framerates.
*
Improved Netcode: Some improvements have been made to help out with the warping and firing the rocket hog. This makes gameplay smoother overall.
*
Seeing Your Team: Now you can see the names of team mates hovering over their head by pressing F3.
*
Server Info: A new server info window can be seen when pressing F2 and when you join the game. It gives you info on the gametype, game rules, server message of
the day, and a few server settings.
*
Future Support: Gearbox won't be releasing any new features for HaloPC, all the new cool stuff is headed for HaloCE. HaloPC will just receive critical security patches and nothing more. If you want to see this Halo grow into an even better game, you won't be able to do it with HaloPC.
*
DevMode: With developer mode turned on, you can take all those nice hudless screenshots, record fly-bys and much more. This is not playable online so people cannot cheat with it.
These are just a few of the reasons, there are tons of bug fixes included that you won't find in HaloPC and even more minor features not listed above.
Are there any downsides to HaloCE?
I'm not going to lie to you; there is one downside to HaloCE that has yet to be fixed. That downside is lack of players and we (all of us Halo gamers) are the only ones that can fix that. Gearbox can't release a patch for it, it's up to people like you to download HaloCE and start playing! After seeing what it has to offer, who wouldn't want to play?
This downside is the reason this website exists, we're trying to get more people to see the joys of HaloCE and how it vastly improves upon HaloPC. Once you download HaloCE, you won't want to go back to HaloPC. You can even uninstall HaloPC after you have HaloCE installed if you need the hard drive space.
What do I need to install HaloCE?
HaloCE has the same system requirements as HaloPC. To install HaloCE, you must have your HaloPC CD key. You do not need to have HaloPC installed, just your CD key.
Where can I get HaloCE?
You can download HaloCE below, just take note if you have a slow internet connection this may take a bit. It's a total of 170 MB.
