alright i just downloaded halo ce and when i try to start it it says "a problem occured instilizing Direct3D. Hardware acceleration maybe disabled please run DXDIAG" what do i do. if you know plese send me a message

Go to Run on the Start menu, type in dxdiag. When the diagnostic tool finishes, go to the Display tab. Make sure both DirectDraw and Direct3D are put on Enable, then use the Test DirectDraw/Direct3D buttons. Tell us what the error message tells you.

System specs would also do wonders for being able to help you. On the Display tab, the third line on the left will say "Chip Type". Tell us what the chip type is. The problem is most likely that your video card will not support Halo.

also look into updating your video card drivers. Check the video card manufacture's website for the latest drivers.
