I just bought a new 19" widescreen flat-panel to replace my old 17" Dell CRT. I am quivering with awe. I jumped into a game of Halo to see the difference and orgasmed when I spawned. I cannot believe the difference. No more missing people hiding in the shadows. I am in love. Well I'm off the play the campaign how it was originally intended to look.

Seriously, if you don't have a video card with a digital port, and a LCD monitor you are missing a beautiful thing. Wow.......

I got screwed with a 17" CRT monitor, my brother got a 1400x900 widescreen 19".

Now I gotta save up my money cuz my dad won't get me a widescreen, yet my brother got a 7300GS or LE card, dual core processor (not to be confused with duo core).

I'm so pissed, I saw my brother play halo on his widescreen, I drooled

Brand spancking-new 19" Samsung LCD. Heh, Igg told me over X-fire he was getting the monitor in and I just knew you'd love it.

P.S Yes I'm back, but probably lurking for the most part, once school starts I won't have much time to come here anymore.

You guys are so lucky. I still have to plug my computer into the back of my brother's Gameboy Color to play Halo. I was going to get my own, but I'm too cheap to afford one. When my brother wants to use the Gameboy, I just play without a monitor, running around and shooting at random.

I really hope I don't need to put [/sarcasm] tags on that. Say, would that actually work? If you gutted a Gameboy, could you run the computer output cable into the gameboy's input?

I've got IBM's 17" ThinkVision display, it's an awesome flatscreen monitor. It's convenient, too, because all I have to do is press a button and it automatically fits the resolution to the screen, so if I change my resolution in Halo, it automatically adjusts the screen to fit the picture.

I got a BenQ digital flat panel, does the same thing.
Not sure about the size though, I measure in cm not inches.
If you are desperate to know, look up the FP767-12 on their website.
Runs at 1280x1024. It it pretty crappy, but I have one of those 'workstation' cupboards. Not much space.

I have a Samsung 17" SyncMaster 700b monitor. Not the greatest, it can only run at 1280x1024 resolutions, and I suspect my monitor responsible for making my screen darker than it should be. But it's still a decent monitor, it has gotten me through tough times.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.
