Let me guess, you have an Ati card. That's actually how gearbox intended the active camo to work, but most video cards didn't actually have the feature that used camo the way gearbox intended. You can change the shaders if you want the xbox-style camo, but the solid-actual-camoflauge camo can make for interesting gameplay.

What are you talking about?! Gearbox never intended invisble people to be a solid color. They intended invible people in halo pc to look exactly like the xbox version.

I'm curious though how do you change the shaders like you said?

I'm pretty sure it's not cheating if it's your graphics card.

that's true

well if people complain tell them theres nothing you can do about it and that they should buy their own ATI cards just for that reason alone if they think its so great. That'll shut them up. You probably own in those camo/shotgun and camo/rocket games.

My gfx card works fine, except for explosions. I don't see explosions, there is the rocket/nade and then it dissapears and I hear a boom. I have an advantage there, because certain heavy weapons can make it hard to see. I can see cristol clear through flammer and FRG, meaning easier TSKs on them.

If you right click the Halo shortcut and put like -use11 after the "C:\ProgramFiles\MiscroosoftGames\Halo.exe" it will change to 1.1 shaders.

Use dxdiag please. (start > run > 'dxdiag' > enter)
Post the specs.
