I would like Member Since date back. But we live in a Democracy, so I haven't a thing to do about it. I have said my short and boring peace, and shan't ever speak of it again.

Why? All it did was lead to people being disregarded or held in higher standing solely because of their join by date.

I'll have to get used to te removal of the join date. It makes the user area look empty. Other than that, no complaints.

They should replace it with a Location or Gamertag field. Most people don't check everyone's profile to see if they live by them.

I liked it. It made me feel good. I'd be like, "Damn, it's been that long?" and feel cool, and remember when I was being talked though thr sign up process. I would at least want it to be visible by me.

Did the banner of the Flood get fixed as well? You now have to click the picture or the letters, didn't it used to be almost the entire area?

edit: that's the word

Did the top of the Flood get fixed as well? You now have to click the picture or the letters, didn't it used to be almost the entire area?

I've noticed that, I sat there for a couple of seconds clicking the space around it, guess I'll have to get used to it

I made a thread about that...it's all the minor forums. :(

It did use to be the whole area; now I believe it's only the words.

It does make the user area look different. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet, but it seems like there should be something else there now.

I think I've found a bug as well.

When you make a post you see "New Mombasa Halo 2 General" go to "New Mombasa Halo 2 Xbox General" and "The Maw Halo PC" go to "The Maw Halo 2 Vista / Halo PC". I assume this is meant to be seen normally but it's only visable when typing a post. :\

Every time I sign in now, it tells me the informatino I'm sending (my email and password) is being sent over an unencrypted connection and can easily be read by a third party.. I used to not get this message. I figured it'll be ok still and that nobody would be reading over the connection, but it still makes me wonder.

Yep, me too. That's what I tried to get at with my "new login process" statement. Nicely put though. ;)

The "Meet the Team" page is also much more "consolidated".

When you say "much" you really mean it don't you?!

Have a look here.

I don't. Could be because I'm using Windows Vista, though. I noticed I can actually use the "Sign Out" button now, instead of having to delete my cookies when I have the "Remember my password" option checked.

It's probably more browser than OS. I'm using firefox but I don't know what SgtSTFU is using. :(

We updated Passport to "Passport RPS 4.0", otherwise known as "Windows Live ID". As such, there might be a little weirdness with the login for a bit. There is only so much of that system that we can test in preproduction. Please send issues to bnetbugs@microsoft.com. I do know that the Meet the Team page is not generating its page anymore, I'll look into that, that was unintentional.

Well Windows Vista uses the new version of "Windows Internet Explorer" as it is now called.
