Xbox Connect is crapy. It's like PS2-online, it sucks.

ya.... it does suck, always laggy. Always at least a little, even when you think it isn't it still is..... unless you host games. then theres ZERO lag, but there still is for other people. i don't care if you have a T4 line. it is still laggy. no, shut up. it is.

I resent that, XB Connect is awesome. Its the best way to play Halo online. It has more users than any other one, better interface, everything about XB Connect is good. Sometimes lag gets annoying, but all games have lag. Remember, Halo wasn't meant for online play, so it might be alittle more laggy than some, but its still great.

To play XB Connect, you will need broadband internet (most likely DSL or Cable) a router, and the XBC software, which can be found here. Running and playing on XBC is free, but a pro version is available. It costs like 15 bucks, and you get some new added features. For getting started, check their homepage. If you need help with stuff like getting your router configured or anything else, scramble over here. You will probably only need to configure your router if you want to host games. Its not all that hard, I did it in about 15 minutes! Well, I hoped all this information has helped you out!

If you have DSL or Cable XBC is OK for 1 on 1 games - and it gets really laggy if you add more. A T1 is ok for up to 4 on 4, but the XBC system is not really all it's cracked up to be.

That is untrue, I play 4v4 all the time on my server, and I dont have a T1. With minimum lag also, you guys must have played some really downright cruddy games to get these impressions. Maybe you guys should try playing it longer, give it a chance.
