Subject: Halo:CE Xbox 360 Glitches

Not quite sure where this topic belongs since its not really about Halo for Xbox but for the 360. Anyway, it's about Halo:CE on a console so I guess this is the place.

Having aquired my 360 some time ago I've begun going through the Halo campaign again to reclaim all of those different difficulty shields. This is possible due to the wonders of backwards compatability. However, there have been a few little oddities along the way which I certainly don't remember occuring or hearing about whilst playing on the original Xbox. The most notable of which i've seen is the loss of colour on power-ups and jackal shields whilst playing on T&R. The colour just disappeared after I entered the ship. The jackal's shields were just transparent, like they were made of plastic. I even caught it on shakey-cam but I haven't bothered posting it anywhere yet.

As for why, the only the reason I can think of is some coding errors between the BC and the 360. Certainly they never showed up on the original Xbox.

Am I alone in this type of new phenomina? Or have similar things happened to others of you? Please post your thoughts on this, and any weird happenings you think you've had as a result of 360 shenanigans.

Wow. I haven't noticed color loss in anything (♥ my new LCD TV), but I have noticed that it gets way laggy during big fights with lots of NPCs. Also, when I drop weapons, they get stuck in walls and floors a lot more often...

Yeah, framerate seems to be another issue that's cropping up alot more. I dunno, maybe the console struggles to convert all of the origianl data into a form the 360 can understand fast enough. They have said that making games BC is hard because they pushed the Xbox to the limits in different ways. Halo:CE pushed alot of boundaries, and it seems its making it difficult for the 360 to translate.
