Eh, they'll still have their member ID number to brag about if they got rid of join dates altogether.

That would be an all new low for anybody who did so..

If someone uses seniority as an argument, they already lost the fight.

You haven't read a damn thing have you? Read before posting please.

I think taking join dates away is only one of many steps from bungie.net peace.

you obviously didn't undertsand the notion of my post.

nor did you read the 1st and 2nd sentences of the thread makers first post.

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

Honestly, I liked having the join dates next to someone's avatar because that way I knew how to respond to a person that was asking a question. Meaning, if I saw that they just joined last week, and posted something in a wrong forum, I'd probably say something along the lines of "hey, you might be new, but this is the wrong forum for your post, it probably goes in.....etc". Now, if they have been a member for more then a year or so, then I'd probably just report the thread to a mod and move on.

I liked having the join dates, but that's probably because I'm not an elitist -blam!-.

Woo, slow down there 272772. They've already been removed. There's no way join dates are coming back.

anyways, Senority is in everything. 1st year players in any sport are called rookies. Everyone else is considered a veteran. Hiogh school, it's there too.

Even in life.

Did the english ever say you can't revolt against us america, your not as old as we are.. no not really. makes no sense. while rookie and veteran are titles, people on the forums here use it to argue their staements. and really, like if an intellegent person joins b.net late because he never had internet before, all of a sudden he's a noob -blam!- and deserves to have his ideas shot down?

Nah, that'd never happen. Intelligent people don't join b.net.

I dunno why they were removed; the whole elitist thing sounds fabricated to me. But whatever now that you've wasted a few minutes of your time, you better not waste more putting them back.

It would have been easier t onot include them at all, but ahh well.

I do believe that people used the join date to their advantage in arguments and people that joined in 04 had more of a intimidating figure to those who joined in 06. I mean, they should ya know? I don't really care if the join date's gone, if people really want to know when someone else joined, click on their porfile or something, but I really don't see the point in having something taken out, but not taking it out of something else, ya know what I'm saying?
