People have told me it is free to play online, but the box says, "Local and Long Distance telephone toll charges may apply" Why does it say that if it is free? Also, i'm on dial-up

It is very free indeed, but I suggest a faster connection as to avoid unwanted lag. The telephone thing don't mean nothing you have to worry about.

However, I HIGHLY suggest upgrading to broadband as to optimize the gaming expierence.

It is free. You just have to pay for the internet.

yea, it may apply if you are using dial-up, which is the cost for your isp.

Disregard that statement...Like Obi_Wan said you just have to pay for the internet, ( which I suggest upgrading), to get online. Otherwise to play the game is free. FREE FREE FREE
FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE FREE.

It is also cost a whooping $0.00 to play online.
With interest up to 0%
If you start today you can get the discount which will bring your purchase price up to a huge, insurmountable, unreal, neverchanging, eternal price of $0.00.

What a bargain!!!

It means you have to pay for your internet service provider, not to pay to play online. Read it carefully, and this is spam considering this question was already asked and answered in your other thread.

Also, don't call it Halo Live. Halo PC's online service is provided by Gamespy and is in no way whatsoever affiliated with Xbox Live. Get your terms right before you use mods and modders as synonyms for cheats and cheaters.
