Ok, here's the problem I like sniping and pistol sniping, but I also like being up in your face kinda fighter. What should I set my sensitivity for? For sniping and pistol sniping I like a 5 and for close range i like 8 or 9. Should I just get better at sniping on a higher sensitivity? It's on 6 right now but that feels to slow in close range, but with 7 my snipings shaky.

Any help would be appreciated :)

You have to master 10, in my opinion. Once you get total control over it, you won't be shaky with your sniping. Just play on Campaign for awhile using 10, and try doing things until you get the hang of it.

Not sure which method would be best for you, but I just try and get used to 7 sensitivity for sniping. I don't get into close combat too many times, but being able to wheel around behind you quickly is essential, even when sniping. In my opinion, you should pick a sensitivity you're most or very comfortable with in close combat and practice to steady your thumbs with sniping.

Well I change between 7 and 10. I prefer the faster because my reaction speed is that fast, but I like it slower so that my shots hit where I am aiming and firing at the same time.

On the Bungie forums, everyone's a hockey fan. Go Predators! And I swear, I may have met you a few years ago at a camp in the states. Maybe I'm going crazy. My lower sensitivity of 5 will rule you all in shotguns.

Mine is set at five and i own all my friends and don't even snipe much.

I think it just helps to have your sight NOT jump completely off your target when you move the crosshairs like it does on the higher sensitivities.

I don't know about you guys but I just leave it on 3. And I consider myself to be very skilled in multiplayer (others do too). Seems like I'm the only one who leaves it on 3 though. I wonder what Char has his sensitivity set??

Just about every thing I post is my opinion and nothing more. Be subjective. Respect other's opinions. Try to understand other's point of view.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could set sensitivty for different weapons, say 5 on sniper and 10 on rockets and shotguns. HINT HINT HINT Bungie!

I keep mine about 8 for closeup and sniping. Learning to snipe with a high sensitivity is essential. If they find your sniper spot, you have to be able to fight close-range too.

I will literally jump over you and melee you in the back before you can turn around.
