It's certainly an interesting playlist - I haven't played all of the gametypes yet, but it's really keeping me on my toes. The only one I have any real issue with is Sun King, but that's just because of the lag you tend to get in rockets only games.
I know a lot of people are -blam!-ing about this, Bungie. Not so much the fact we have a new playlist, as the fact that Rumble Hardcore was removed. I only ever played it a few times and found it to be pretty awful - still, to each their own.
I've always been one of those folks that plays Halo 2 for fun, win or lose. Obviously, I prefer winning, but it doesn't break my heart if I lose. And I'd certainly never blame my team or my friends. This playlist has brought a lot of the fun back, and I get a very good feeling we'll be playing it a lot in the future.
Yeah, Rumble Hardcore has gone. I know a lot of you don't like that. I didn't like it when they removed 6v6, but that's just life, and I got over it. And besides, you talk about these gametypes being for folks without skill.... the truly skillful will be flexible enough to alter their tactics to get wins, and will enjoy a fresh challenge.
And, for the truly stubborn and obnoxious, you can still play your custom games. Or maybe even quit Halo 2. Fact is, you already bought the game - Bungie already made their money out of you. You quitting makes no difference to them whatsoever - it's just yourself you're slapping in the face.
