Yesterday (or was it the night before yesterday), I was playing Counter-Strike on a server running the level. Well, right as I enter the game it seemed rather good, but when the next round started two people (El Gladiador and foxnauw) were consistantly team killing on the other team, making the game no where near as fun it could have been. After a while (and after like 20 people left the server) they switched sides and started killing people on my team (CT's), we obviously killed him the ASAP to insure we could actually have the best type of game experence we could have.

Anyway, this crap lasted for about 50 rounds, I finally went to bed (though, I was able to capture two screenshots for proof from my digital camera before I left) and this is what they're scores were:

Copy and paste to view, but don't link (you cannot properly link things from Geocities sites just so you know)...

I hope bungie can get many different things that can be used to prevent this from accuring... Like:

1. The Host can choose respectful people as game rcon (ingame moderators you could say) so they can boot when the admin isn't around)
2. Team Kill complaints (when you kill a teammate, they can choose to file about a complaint at that person (after a while, they will start to disappear), this was used in Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
3. Voting system to kick/ban people from playing on the servers

and I'm sure you could possible do various other things as well...

Thanks in advance =]

Oh, and if anyone is curious to why I didn't just go to another server... At the time this was the only decent no lag server with more then 3 people...

CS rocks, but CSCZ is better!

Anyways, yeah, teamkilling is moronic and annoying. It really subtracts from the game.

Agreed...

though I do find counterstrike a bit annoying sometimes.....

probably because I suck at it when I play because I NEVER play it...

LOL

Bungie is incorporating a feature that allows the admin to assign hosting duties to another player when he/she leaves so the game won't close, and prevent scenarios such as this on dedicated servers.

Did you get that from the FAQ?

I think IGN said it after they played the demo and such of the Zanzibar level...

Though, I'm confused on how that's even possible...? The only way I could see if the host wasn't actually host the server, but bungie/microsoft was hosting it for them...
