I find it quite entertaining to watch how Bungie shows their real face when it comes down to more serious matters like money, lets face it, its no longer about having fun its about being a money making machine for Microsoft.

How angry and disturbed they get and what great morale the developers portray when it comes to losing some money, "Rally the underground armies" it says on the front page and they rally. 64 pages of people swearing legions to bungie. But why. Do they know that with a little effort from them games could get cheaper do they know that they are paying way above its real value. Do they know that the extra pennies they pay in vain go to the great microsoft collective, do they know that they are paying for mr Gates hi-tech houses, that they are paying for Microsofts expanding empire and contributing to a monopoly market where everything will get more expensive.

It is funny that when it comes to putting price tags on the games the morale suddenly vanishes. Quite interesting is it not. Personally I would never give the amount of money that Bungie demand for their games, it is simply not worth it and now when they are microsofts dogs it makes it even more repulsive. I do not think this criminal act was commited in order to destroy your project but it was done for the same reason that it has been done a million times before and that is as a simple protest to the foul play of the system involving software buissnes.

It is also a simple demand from the public that has been ignored for years. A demand that goes . .Be true to us and we will be loyal to you.. When you charge three or four times more then the real worth of a game that is deciving the public. Asking your armies to rally after betraying them is something only fouls would heed to.

-blam!- the system, -blam!- the lies, and -blam!- everything that is not in favor to the public.

Are you talking about the price of the game? It is only $50.00, well worth the cost.

I know I have just submitted another link with a Halo 2 "Trailer" of a lot of single player stuff. It was posted on my forums, but I have since removed the link and contacted Microsoft about it.

Helping the cause.

Read some of the articles game sites have put out about the whole thing. They aren't pissed about "losing money". There's over a million copies of their game on pre-order. The reason they're ticked is because for over 2 years they've hoarded screenshots and kept the storyline quiet. They wanted to make their game as fun and enjoyable as it could be. Believe it or not, hyping up the game and doing such things like releasing novels, online sites like Halo2.com and Ilovebees.com, and talking about hidden things for you to figure out makes the game more anticipated and therein makes the game better once you get it. Not all the money you spend on games from Bungie and Microsoft go to Bill Gates and his luxuries. Rather it goes to the people who spend hours at work at the companies. Not even just between the two (Bungie and Microsoft), there's more affiliates with MS than we know. But the money goes to the people who work hard and have jobs there. More than likely they have families who need to be taken care of. I'm not even thinking about all that when I buy a game, I'm thinking aobut why I'm buying the game...Bungie knows that. That's why they get pissed when their most anticipated game gets ruined by people who can't keep their mouths shut like we'd like. I know a guy that downloads games regularly, he's a good friend of mine. That stuff is his thing, but for people who choose to keep out of that kind of thing, we'd appreciate it if the others didn't ruin everything for us. Its like pirating a movie and telling us the story and ending. Its just dissappointing.

Everything has a system, there were no lies, and most everything that this has to do with the favor to the public.

Also, learn to spell businesses

greedy? just becuz games are 50 dollars doesnt make gaming companies greedy. look aroound u pal, all games, all NEW games, anticipated or not, were 50 dollars or more at their release. If u think that becuz bungie is greedy becuz of that, then u might as well call other gaming companies greedy. bungie spent 2+ years creating a game for everyone to enjoy. 50 dollars for halo2 isnt alot at all. if they were greedy, y didnt they just make it 80, or 90 dollars. it was an aniticapted game that over 1 million wanted to buy, and they didnt make the price higher. think about it, all games (well most of them), were 50 dollars on their release. Anticipated or not, 50 dollars, no more than 60, will always be a starting price for a game.

First off this pissis me off that somone would steal years of work from Bungie. Not only time but blood sweat and tears. F**k these people, they do it all for the rush and then...it's over. These people at Bungie spent sooooo much time for our enjoyment in the future (Nov 9th) and now the hackers are going to spoil it in a matter of days for certin people. That just pisses me off. If anyone plays on XBC look on there I bet there will be some people ready to play H2. Look for them and screw them like they are trying to screw us, and how they screwed Bungie.
You guys at Bungie are great even tho I don't know, anyway you guys make kick ass games.

Ghandi I don't know if you did that to get a rise out of everyone, but you should be banned from this whole site for, first off being dumb as -blam!- beucase that game has been pre-ordered from almost everyone. Bungie's employees are not full of money grubing pigs. Ya they will make a crap load of money, good for them they earned it living at the job for 2 years. Would you live at your job for others enjoyment in the future. Bungie builds games because they like it, and they make the best there is. You probaby are an angry guy who works a retail job, and is pissed off becuase you can't make crap for money, or you can't get halo 2 already. So go be angy somewhere else.

first of all, piracy is illegal stupid. second, bungie wasnt going to just roll over like the little -blam!- you are and just say "ooooooo well, mine as well let the pirates publicise all the hard work and effort of the past 3 years we spent creating the most anticipated game ever". thirdly, its hard to believe a true halo fan would say somthing like that about bungie and its fans. so one question, if you will, what the heck are you doing in the bungie halo2 forums!!! go spread your demented, self pitty in some other forum.

1 more thing, note how you say " Do they know that the extra pennies they pay in vain go to the great microsoft collective, do they know that they are paying for mr Gates hi-tech houses, that they are paying for Microsofts expanding empire and contributing to a monopoly market where everything will get more expensive", you tard, theres proof your prejudice against microsoft! how many other companies charge 50-60$ bucks for a game...duh! every other leading game producer! go back to your gameboy where you belong.

First of all, this is also business without money you can't have business. And their money is being stolen so they would do like any other company would do which is to get pissed. Also Halo 2 is worth every cent, if it were 100 + dollars I'd buy it, and if you don't wanna buy that is your problem, but don't post it here.

core-arms, notice how many people are against ur quote, that is because 1) it was illegitimate 2) u didnt think the other alternatives that ur post point made, and 3) ur insulting bungie and ur a member of the bungie.net community. If u wanna post something that does not go in favor with bungie, or against the pirates, post is somewhere else, cuz if u post it here, no-one will give a -blam!- wat u say, and just disagree with u. so get the -blam!- outta here if u think about that kinda -blam!- and go to another forum where pirates lurk.

Posted by: I didn't think Halo 2 could possibly be played on a PC since it is an Xbox exclusive game.

the leak I assume was in the form of the x box game wich means that anyone who downloads it well need a mod chip to play it. this severly limits the extent of the outbreak of course as mod chips are not extreamly comon. I have repetidly seen halo 2 posted both in news groups an torrents and quite frankly it makes me sick. not because the game was leaked but because of the fact that our friends at bungie have gone to such great lengths to hide the details of halo 2 from us inorder to make the game more enjoyable for us. the only thing that makes this at all tollerable is that everyone i have talked to feels much the same way that i do and would never download halo 2 and is instead willing to wait for the legal copy to come out purly because of their love for the game. i truely hope you catch the person who leaked the game and as much as i wish you had never given out any copys (thus preventing this problem) i also im releive that it is not going to be a cataclysmic event like it could have been if it where a pc game of if halo didnt have truly loyal fans. i am also releaved that because of the illigal nature of this download no one has been willing to distribute the details fo the plot over any network i have seen.

One mre thing Bill gates's paid for his high-tech house through an inspired concept and hardwork.
If you come up with a Windows alternative perhaps u could get one aswell, and move out of that skanky hut your shacked up in at present.
