Anyone have any information or know where to find any on the Halo limited edition xbox?

I would like to know how many are being sold worldwide, and which Dvd-rom + Harddrive (brand/size) it will be shipping with.

Any info would be great, thanks.

That depends on your country/region. In Australia you can just walk into your local Electronics Boutique store and purchase one - It's still limited edition.

Check out www.ebgames.com if you havn't check it out yet :) Should be right on the front page, or under the Xbox tab.
I preordered mine, but I could walk into the store and get one, the store I preordered at is only recieving FOUR though, so I doubt I would actually get one.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Why would you buy a brand new XBOX just because its clear and ships with Halo? Unless you were lazy and hadn't already bought an XBOX.

Actually, I preordered one on April 1st. It's going to be my first Xbox, because after the release of Halo PC i really didn't need an Xbox for anything but Halo2. There are also alot of people who have 2 or 3 Xboxes for LAN parties (these people, however, have entirely too much money) not to mention all the poor saps who have had their drives quit on them and would rather just buy the new machine than shell out the $80 to have the old one repaired. Wow, look at me. I'm actually giving people a reason to buy a Microsoft product. I feel so dirty.

I know what it looks like, it is see thru green and it says halo on the disc thing and it comes with HALO, of course, and it will have a see thru green controler with halo in the middle of it. I saw a pic of it on I think it was xbox.com.

I just preordered one today and I've had the Xbox and Halo since they first came out. I've always liked the special edition stuff, like the white Panzer Dragoon Xbox that came out in Japan. So since we finally have a special edition here in the states and it happens to be a cool Green Halo Xbox, I want it. I'm trading in my old Xbox and Halo for $100 at Electronic Boutique ($85-xbox, $15-halo), that means I am spending $70 bucks for the special edition. This will also be my first chance to get the new controller-s, I have the bigger original controllers, which I like just fine, but I haven't given the s much of a chance before. Really though special editions are just good to draw more people to buy xbox's who don't already have one, and for freaks like me that want what most people don't/can't get. If I had the money I wouldn't even trade in my old xbox because I want to have LAN parties with Halo before Halo 2 comes out.

My friend is getting one and selling the controller to me to help pay for it, his old xbox had an accident invoving some superglue and he is also selling it to EB (We have a very nice EB).

You don't have to preorder one. I reserved mine at EB games, and then traded in my old Xbox for it because I got it right when it came out and it was defective, and I think they're were going to be only about a thousand or so of them made.

Well i bought one. It's awesome. And someone said why would you buy another xbox? Why in the hell would'nt you want to in the first place. It says HALO SPECIAL EDITION on the front, It's see-through green. The controller says halo on it. The game has halo 2 videos. And if your a true halo fan you would buy one. And you can walk into gamestop(like i did) and buy one. Only thing i dont like about them is that they are loud. But i also wanna know how big the HD is and the dvd reader speed. Also it loads faster then my old xbox.
