I must dissagree. There have been many improvements doen to the Vista version that just would not be possible on the Xbox. Higher resolution textures, higher framerate, more memory so no more texture poping (or not as much anyway), and way higher resolution. Haven't you been keeping up with the news lately? And it's still in early stages of..development, i guess (even though it is a port, there's still a lot of system unique stuff to take advantage of).
Come on. Have some hope. And patience. And there is no way possible an Xbox can beat the Vista machines they were using at the demo. If you've seen the numbers of an Xbox and the numbers of a Vista capable machine, they are not even in comparison.
Anyway, I just needed to say that.
I must say as well though that there seems to be a lack of bump maps in the new screenshots, but there are bumpmaps in the video. I could be wrong...
you haven't seen half life 2 on xbox have you thats the game I was referring to
I have, and it does not beat Half Life 2 for PC.
according to valve evrything in the PC version was shoehorned onto the xbox version along with improved lighting YAY
