We've compiled the top seven reasons that Halo 2 Vista rocks. Some might say it even has the potential to rock ever so slightly harder than the Xbox original. There are some things you might expect such as the map editor as well as some new tidbits that you may not have known.

wowza, I'm not buying Vista though, unless the membership is free. Otherwise, totally not worth it. Sorry Bungie, I'm saving my enthousiasm for Halo 3

I don't really think it's that vital or, dare I say, worth the extra money to upgrade your PC to play Halo 2 on the Vista if you have it on the Xbox.

They need to do this for Halo 3 and release new things via Xbox Live marketplace.

July 15, 2008... The day the timer stood still.

I can't wait to see what some people can put together with the videos. Look at the Fire Team Charlie videos. Amazing mods there brought the series to life.

@Ma ku: No, it wouldn't. H2V, because of the map editor, is effectively CE already. No need to split the community.

I have a question, Bungie. Will there be a way to let H2V take full advantage of a 64-bit processor?

Ooh, I am like, early to a story. Odd.

Oh, wait. Nope. It's a bad thing. I'm the 13th poster. Crud.

Stop teasing me, Bungie. ;-;
I want this game so bad it hurts.

Oh, and does anyone know if custom content is limited to just maps or can we design guns and vehicles also?

Just remember... I keep it real...

Cool, too bad I will never play it. My computer is no where near ready to play it, I am saving my money for an Xbox 360 and Halo 3, and consoles own. I would choose a controller over a mouse and keyboad anyday, I hate having my left hand be incharge of hard to reach keys, even after I set new ones. Controllers = comfort = ease = ownage.

It's a good thing my computer is Vista compatible. The Vista H2 looks just as awesome as the Xbox one. Nice Bungie!

I hope AntiAliasing can be used in H2V (the Halo 1 PC engine did not allow AA), but I'll still buy it either way.

Nothing will turn a group of grown men into a mass of screaming girls quicker than the launch of Halo 3

Halo 2 Vista sounds awesome! but unfortunatly i wont have vista anytime soon. and even though my vid card can run sm=ome nice HDTV. my monitor doesnt :(

I just cant wait to see some of the higher quality.

All good, its looking great! There's no denying that the whole point of porting Halo 2 exclusively to Vista is to get people to buy Vista. I'll be upgrading in due time (probably when I build a 64-bit machine).

I'd just like to remind everyone that for number 6 you are going to need decent hardware to capture smoothly...no Dell Dimension Crap Computers.

A nice list, Bungie! I'm still thinking about purchasing the game though; not for sure yet. It looks nice though.

Top Four Things that H2V doesn't need to have but would be cool :D:

1. Dual Core Support
2. SLI and CrossFire support
3. AntiAliasing
4. Anisotropic Filtering
