You should be able to at least get a medium-settings if not high-settings game of H2PC running.

Depends on your actual computer specs, though...don't use other games as benchmarks...

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

halflife 2 doesnt take a very powerful video card just a crap load of memory for walking around and then another crap load for fighting.

I'm sure you can at least play it, don't expect medium at high resolutions though. On the brightside, most high end Dx9 card should be somewhat affordable by then.

Good analogy. "How coem i cun plae haf lief too @ max settigns wif hi fps but haelo runz crapzors!!1!!!??!???"

You can't compare Halo and Half Life 2 together. HL2 is optimized for the PC, and therefore doesn't take too much to run it's awesome graphics and performance. Halo on the other hand, is a port from a console, and a very bad one at that. Halo 2 Vista hopefully won't be as bad of a port as Halo PC was.

Btw, HL2 and Doom 3 are leet.

Hm...I hold out the hope that since Bungie is taking full control of it (not Gearbox) this time around, that it'll turn out to be decent, at least.

RIP Halo 2.

Unless they support Dx9 cards, no.
